Learn more about how the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) is working with Canada’s other federal research funding agencies on key initiatives that will better help support your research career and professional skills development. The Tri-agency talent initiatives aim to encourage innovation, strengthen our knowledge-based society, build a better Canada for all, and tackle global challenges, with students and postdoctoral researchers at the heart of this vision.
In this session we will discuss how the three agencies plan to simplify and harmonize programs and policies, increase support, eliminate barriers, and facilitate career transitions by providing a new, modernized approach to our scholarship and fellowship programs that will better meet the needs of Canada’s research community. Join us to learn how Tri-agency funding opportunities are being redesigned to meet the future needs of our world-class research talent.
Attendees are also encouraged to visit the SSHRC Lounge (between Registration and Expo) for daily drop-in sessions between 2 p.m and 4 p.m.
