The Federation strives to ensure that our website is accessible and easy to use to people with disabilities.
- We built this website to be WCAG 2.0 compliant;
- We consulted with external stakeholders before launch;
- We appointed an accessibility officer and/or ombudsperson;
- We are providing continual accessibility training for our staff;
- We are integrating accessibility into our procurement practices.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Federation is fully conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.
The Federation continues our efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of our website in the belief that it is our collective obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content fully accessible, some content may fall short of accessibility. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
Certain PDF documents across the site are not fully accessible yet. We are working with a third-party organization to bring them into compliance. If you need a PDF document to be prioritized, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
