Nominations are open for the Federation’s Board of Directors

Nominations opened on Friday, January 4 for seven positions on the Board of Directors for the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences. The open positions are:

Current General Assembly representatives and members of the Board of Directors are the nominators. Anyone who is a) affiliated with a learned society, association, university or college which is a member of the Federation and b) either currently or previously engaged in teaching and/or research in the humanities or social sciences is eligible for election.

If you are not a General Assembly representative but wish to put your name or someone else’s name forward for election, contact Bonnie Weppler for further information.

Nominations will close at the end of the business day on Friday, January 25. Elections will take place in February, the Board of Directors will meet on March 22, and the Annual General Meeting and Annual Conference will be held on March 23.
