Lisa Semchuk

Policy Advisor

Lisa Semchuk is the Federation's Policy Advisor. 

Prior to joining the Federation, Lisa was a Policy Associate and Research Assistant with the Public Policy Forum. She supported strategic policy initiatives at PPF, including the Canadian Commission on Democratic Expression and the Energy Regulator Dialogues. Previously, Lisa was a Project Analyst with the Canadian Career Development Foundation and an Associate with the Royal Bank of Canada’s Career Launch Program. 

Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Manitoba. 

Lisa speaks English and is learning French. She was raised in Dauphin, Manitoba and now calls Ottawa home. Outside of the Federation, you can find Lisa swing dancing, expanding her wardrobe of vintage clothing, or sitting down with a good book or film.
