The Canadian Association of Slavists (CAS) is an interdisciplinary gathering of scholars and professionals whose interests focus on the social, economic, and political life of the Slavic peoples, as well as their languages, diverse cultures, and histories. The conference welcomes papers from the wide range of disciplines devoted to the study of central and eastern Europe, the Balkans, Eurasia, Russia, the Soviet Union, and the post-Soviet space.
