The Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences has been invited to nominate outstanding candidates from our community for the 2024 Governor General’s Innovation Awards, and we're seeking your recommendations.
The Governor General’s Innovation Awards celebrate excellence in innovation across all sectors of Canadian society and inspire Canadians, particularly Canadian youth, to be entrepreneurial innovators. As a humanities and social sciences community, we have a role to play in advocating for innovative contributions in our disciplines; and as a member of the Federation, you have the exclusive privilege to recommend outstanding innovators or innovations from your organization.

We strongly believe that the humanities and social sciences community is an important source of innovation, and we greatly appreciate your help in identifying colleagues whom we can recognize through these awards.
