This presentation explores how creative, artistic, and embodied research methods in education can unsettle inherited epistemologies and activate informal educational worlds that enact alternative relational possibilities for ecological justice in the Global South. Drawing from three multidisciplinary projects situated in distinct contexts in Andean Ecuador, we trace an emergent research praxis that moves between social pedagogy, community knowledge, children’s ecological imaginaries, and artistic experimentation.
