Dr. Malinda S. SmithDr. Malinda S. Smith is Professor of Political Science and Associate Vice-President (Research) at the University of Calgary, and a nationally recognized scholar and public leader whose work spans international politics, equity, pluralism, and decolonization in higher education. A prolific author and advisor, she has served in senior roles with SSHRC, Statistics Canada, and the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, where she chaired the landmark Igniting Change report. Her contributions to scholarship and inclusive excellence have earned numerous national honours and awards. |

Stephen J. ToopeStephen J. Toope, O.C., FRSC, LL.D., is President and CEO of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research. One of Canada’s most distinguished academic leaders, he previously served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, President of the University of British Columbia, and Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs. An internationally respected scholar of law and public policy, he has held senior advisory roles with the United Nations, Canadian research institutions, and leading not-for-profit organizations, and was named an Officer of the Order of Canada for his contributions to higher education and public service. |

Corey Loranger (Emcee)Corey Loranger is an Edmonton-based actor, TV host, and producer whose work has helped shape Alberta’s Francophone film and television landscape. Co-founder of Far West Productions and now with Calibou Films, he has produced award-winning screen projects seen nationally and internationally, while also earning recognition as an actor and host of major television programs and live events. He was named one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 for his contributions to Alberta’s Francophone and film communities. |
