Conference session

This 90-minute capacity-building lab addresses a gap in cross-sector leadership development: leaders consistently underperform not because of flawed intentions, but because unexamined power dynamics shape their behaviours in ways that contradict those intentions. Drawing on Julie Diamond's Power Intelligence framework and the Diamond Power Index® (DPI), the session helps participants understand the intent-behaviour-impact chain and build practical capacity to make conscious behavioural choices, especially under pressure. Participants leave with an understanding of the importance of power intelligence and concrete strategies for interrupting reactive patterns in adversarial or challenging organizational environments.
