This is a reminder of your invitation to join the Big Thinking Summit: Future-ready graduate education in Canada, taking place 15–16 October 2025 at McMaster University, Hamilton.
This focused, invitation-only gathering will bring together leaders in graduate education, research, and innovation to define priorities for a National Strategy for Graduate Education. The program will feature plenary discussions and breakout sessions designed to advance shared understanding and consensus on the policy and practice shifts needed for Canada’s future.

Registration and catering are complimentary, attendees are responsible for their travel and accommodation

Outcomes will inform a year-long series of engagement workshops, culminating at the Canadian Forum for Social Innovation in Calgary in June 2026

Limited participation support available: $500 for graduate students, $250 for child/dependent care (applications open in September)
If you are unable to attend, you may designate a graduate student leader or executive colleague to participate on your behalf.
