Travelling from Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to York University and York University Residences
Public transportation
Union Pearson Express (UP Express) is an airport rail link connecting Toronto Pearson International Airport to Union Station in downtown Toronto. The UP Express runs 7 days a week and comes every 15 minutes during peak hours. Adult one-way fare from Pearson to Union is $12.35. Youth and post-secondary students save 40% off standard adult fare when using a PRESTO pass.
From Union Station, travelers can take the Yonge-University Line 1 (yellow) directly to one of two subways stations located on York University Keele Campus, York University TTC Station and the Pioneer Village TTC Station. Total trip time is apx. 1 hour 20 minutes.
Alternatively, travelers can take the 40 bus (40 - Richmond Hill Ctr), which comes every 30 minutes, directly from the airport to the Hwy 407 Bus Terminal, then ride the Yonge-University Line 1 subway for one or two stops, to arrive at either York University TTC Station and the Pioneer Village TTC Station. Total trip time is apx. 35-45 minutes.

Taxi and ride share
Using a taxi service or ride share app, travelers can expect the drive from Pearson International Airport Arrivals (Terminal 1) to York University Keele Campus to take between 15-30 minutes depending on route.

Public transportation
From Union Station, travelers can take the Yonge-University Line 1 (yellow) directly to one of two subways stations located on York University Keele Campus, York University TTC Station and the Pioneer Village TTC Station. Total trip time is apx. 50 minutes.

Using a taxi service or ride share app, travelers can expect the drive from Union Station Toronto to York University Keele Campus to take between 30-40 minutes, via Gardiner Expy W and ON 427.
Using a taxi service or ride share app, travelers can expect the drive from Union Station Toronto to York University Glendon Campus to take between 20-30 minutes, via Bayview Ave.

York University is committed to reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality and taking action on climate change. We encourage individuals to ‘Travel Smarter. Cleaner. Better.’ by considering alternatives to single occupancy vehicle commuting such as cycling, transit, and carpooling.
Public transit
York is a major transit hub with two subway stations and local transit buses servicing the Keele Campus daily. We are proud partners with a number of the GTA's local transit agencies, including Brampton Transit (Zum), GO Transit/Metrolinx, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and York Region Transit/VIVA.
Zipcar services are also available on campus and cycling is encouraged as a sustainable transportation alternative.
Parking
Parking at York University will be available for a flat daily rate of $15.00. Please ensure you register your vehicle in advance, or upon arrival through the HONK Mobile App. Parking is available daily, as well as for multiple days if required, or staying in residence.
The University uses license plate recognition technology (LPR). Payment for parking is made exclusively through the HONK Mobile App. In advance of your visit on campus, please Download the App from your device’s App Store or Google Play and set up your free account.

There is ample accessibility parking at York University. Please ensure you plan ahead and allow extra time to find a space near your destination, residence, or meeting location. Most of the parking lots and garages on campus have dedicated and signed accessibility spaces located within each facility. Space availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis. All vehicles parking in these spaces must be displaying a valid province or out of province medical placard, in addition to paying the required parking fee.
