Heather Tiede

Meetings & Events Officer

Heather Tiede is the Federation's Meetings and Events Officer.

A proud graduate of the Sport & Event Marketing post-graduate program at George Brown College, Heather kickstarted her journey into the events industry with a strong academic foundation. 

Heather commenced her career with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, where she contributed her skills to the Toronto Maple Leafs Game Presentations team. Her talent and dedication also played a crucial role in producing elements for the 2015 Pan Am-Parapan Games held in Toronto. With a diverse background in not-for-profit events, as well as wedding and venue coordination, Heather brings a multifaceted perspective to the Federation.

Heather's commitment extends beyond the professional realm. Actively engaged in charitable initiatives, she has played a pivotal role in initiatives such as building an elementary school in rural Jamaica.

In her spare time, Heather finds joy in the theatre, expressing her creativity through cooking, and cherishing moments with her canine companions, Henson and Ty
