Don't miss this remarkable event at Canada's largest Chef School! From 2 to 5 PM, drop in and savour delicious food and beverage samples, crafted by our culinary and hospitality students, designed to support mental health. From 2:30 to 3:30 PM, join Chef Ford in a kitchen auditorium for a cooking demonstration featuring recipes from Cooking Compassion: A guide on Fueling Your Mind and Feeding Your Heart. This cookbook collaboration from the GBC Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts; Stella’s Place (a mental health treatment centre for young adults); and the Ontario College of Arts & Design University is making its debut this summer in bookstores near you. Dr. Linda Gillis will present the research, share recipes, and showcase artwork from the cookbook, focusing on the vital connections between mental health, nutrition, and cooking. Make sure to join us for this enriching experience!
