Canada Prize shortlist highlights excellence in Canadian scholarship

The Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the short list for the Canada Prize in the Social Sciences and the Canada Prize in the Humanities. These prizes – awarded to scholarly work in the Social Sciences and the Humanities – are one of Canada’s most important scholarly book prizes and a significant achievement for the winning authors.

The Canada Prizes recognize the best in long-form academic work funded by the Aid to Scholarly Publications Program (ASPP) and are awarded annually for both French and English titles.

The winners of the Canada Prizes will be announced at the First Annual Conference of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, March 26, 2011 in Ottawa.
