When Toronto's Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) opened its doors in 2004, it was one of the first co-working spaces in the world. But CSI is much more than a co-working space. It is a launchpad for people who are working to make the world a better place by developing innovative solutions to society's most challenging problems. CSI sees its role as curating a diversity of values-aligned members, fostering the connections to reveal the assets in the community, convening to spark and develop new solutions, and reducing the friction to increase trust and build social capital. From incubation to education, Social Enterprise 101 to the Agents of Change, from Climate Ventures to Social Ventures, CSI has been accelerating its members' success directly and indirectly for over 20 years.
