My lightning talk introduces Ethics Bowl Canada, a fast-growing national network that brings together universities, high schools, and community partners to promote ethical reasoning, critical thinking, and respectful dialogue. I will describe how Ethics Bowl is building an ethical and intellectual community through dialogue. The session will trace the organization’s growth and highlight success stories and challenges along the way. The session will be of interest to educators, humanities and social sciences stakeholders, school and university leaders, students, and organizations interested in youth engagement and partnership development. Attendees will learn about the Ethics Bowl format, the role of volunteer-driven collaboration, and the opportunities available to strengthen ethical education through new institutional partnerships. Key takeaways will include an overview of Ethics Bowl Canada’s model, its contribution to ethics education in Canada, and its vision for expanding respectful, dialogue to a greater number of Canadian students.
