André Grace, a professor of education at the University of Alberta, is being honoured with the Killam Professorship this year for his work directing the University of Alberta’s Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services, which educates youth in the community about the importance of inclusiveness of LGBTQI2-S people. Grace is working to develop different initiatives that can make communities and schools safer for LGBTQI2-S kids.
