The SARIT micro-mobility electric vehicle (gosarit.com) represents a new category of Safe and Affordable electric vehicles that will transform personal mobility. These vehicles take up one quarter of the space of a traditional car, have a maximum speed of 32 km and are designed for a single driver, of for driver/passenger and pick up (400 pounds).

Their small size, low cost (less than $200 per month) and clean performance, will both replace existing gas and diesel vehicles, and offer mobility options to those previously unable to afford them. The vehicles can be driven without a driving license, and can get to locations that are currently inaccessible (either due to legislation or by design).

York University is at the forefront of deploying these innovative vehicles, which will have numerous sustainability benefits for our campus. We expect they will be coming to campuses across Canada in 2023 – why not get a preview and test drive while you are at Congress.

Please note this event will be presented in English. Bilingual titles and descriptions are for reference purposes only.
