Reckoning and Re-imaging Climate Anxiety

The Environmental Studies Association of Canada and York University's Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change are proud to co-host Laureline Simon from One Resilient Earth. Join us for an engaging discussion on climate anxiety followed by a climate circle offered in French and English. Climate Circles are safe and inclusive spaces to listen, learn and nurture resilience for a changing world. All are welcome!
One Resilient Earth (ORE) supports transdisciplinary scientific, artistic, cultural, educational and ecological projects to foster awareness of the impacts of climate change, and to build the long-term climate resilience of individuals, communities and ecosystems. ORE inspires and empowers individuals to respond to the ecological crisis, by growing a resilient and creative mindset, (re-) building communities, and restoring the health of ecosystems.
The main event is in English, but there will be a French climate circle.
The Environmental Studies Association of Canada thanks the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences for its generous financial contribution to this event.
