The MEDIA INDIGENA podcast was launched in March 2016, by Rick Harp, a Cree broadcast journalist with over twenty-five years experience in broadcasting including stints with the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Harp established MEDIA INDIGENA to challenge the mainstream media bias that distorts and overlooks Indigenous stories. The current affairs roundtable has grown with several prominent Indigenous scholars from across the country joining the podcast to provide timely, insightful commentary on Indigenous issues. This session will discuss opportunities in podcasting for supporting the work of Indigenous scholarship.

Please note this event will be presented in English. Bilingual titles and descriptions are for reference purposes only.
