A poem shaped like a Haudenosaunee longhouse, made from text that affirms the longevity and impact of building a longhouse as a community and that honors the Oneida core values of a good mind, a good heart, and a strong fire. Created by Dr. Kenzie Allen, this poem is part of an ongoing multimodal poetic ethnography project called Wampum, which maps the intergenerational journey of an Oneida family across borders and continents.
