Researchers, opt into the media outreach program

Are you a researcher presenting material at Congress that the media should know about?

Media coverage of research being presented at Congress serves to remind Canadians of the value of the humanities and social sciences, and of the important contributions these disciplines make to the advancement of knowledge. The Federation plays a key role in making this happen, by running a media outreach program for our members. Media attention gives you, your association and your institution valuable promotion in and out of the academic community and increased visibility with the broader public.

What we can do for you:

The Federation actively engages with media in the weeks and days ahead of Congress to build awareness around the exciting research being presented. We help journalists navigate the extensive programming and facilitate their access to researchers.

To participate, you must opt in to the media outreach program by April 22, 2023.
