Building a Teaching Dossier and Developing a Teaching Statement, an interactive hands-on workshop
Mandy Frake-Mistak
According to Parker Palmer (2007), "we teach who we are." The teaching dossier or portfolio is a collection of artefacts that documents your teaching expertise and growth, but it is also a narrative that contextualizes and connects experiences and beliefs about teaching. Whether you create one for job search purposes or for professional development, your dossier can help you articulate who you are as a teacher. In this active learning session we will explore the artefacts that build your teaching dossier. We provide examples and suggestions for creating a dossier, as well as reflective opportunities to explore your teaching self.
Please note this event will be presented in English. Bilingual titles and descriptions are for reference purposes only.
