304 - Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians (CAPAL)

Sowing Seeds for Change encourages our membership to consider how we cultivate and tend to the practice of academic librarianship. Just as seeds are borne from the fruit of the previous year’s crop, our professional practices grow and blossom over years of experimentation and iteration. This theme will focus on how we effect needed change in the discipline, particularly as it relates to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The theme also invites us to consider how we build structures that inspire and support growth as much as we tend to the seeds of change we grow.
